Berrien Community Foundation - Arlene B. Porritt Memorial Scholarship for Curious Kids' Museum

Description: This is a non-renewable scholarship for up to
$1,000 for a graduating senior from Berrien County. This scholarship
was established in loving memory of Arlene B. Porritt, who passed away
in May 2005. She was an outstanding educator before retiring from the
classroom. This scholarship was established to acknowledge and enrich
the educational experiences of those students who volunteer and/or are
employed at Curious Kids Museum.
Eligibility:
- You must have volunteered and/or been employed at the Curious Kids' Museum a total of 10 hours between 8th grade to Junior year
- You must have a minimum 3.0 gpa
- You must have a strong sense of community as evidenced by additional volunteer activities.
- FAFSA determination letter must be included with the application
