February 27, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Napier Avenue campus.
Prospective students and their families who are interested in attending any college can get free help completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form. Students in Michigan who are graduating from high school in 2016 or are currently in college need to submit their application by March 1 to get the most assistance for college. Guests are encouraged to first visit fafsa.ed.gov to create a FAFSA ID and pin number and bring 2015 federal tax return documents for themselves or their guardians if the student is a dependent.
Guests can also tour LMC’s campus and student housing facility, meet with professors, explore degree, certificate, and transfer programs, and learn about intercollegiate athletics and honors programs.
Representatives from LMC’s on-campus university partners, Siena Heights University and Western Michigan University – Southwest, will discuss transfer programs available for students to complete bachelor’s degrees without leaving LMC’s campus.
Campus tours will be held at 11:15 a.m., 11:45 a.m., and 12:30 p.m. A presentation on Beckwith Hall, LMC’s state-of-the-art housing facility, will be held at 12:00 p.m. A university transfer presentation will be held at 12:30 p.m.
Attendees are encouraged to RSVP in advance here. Call (269) 927-8626 or email at admissions@lakemichigancollege.edu for more information. For other financial aid help events in Michigan, visit MICollegeGoal.org.
